In our separate pharmaceutical section with its space of 5,000 m² we process a variety of different products every day.

For several years now we have supported our well-known customers in both the sector for human medicine and veterinary pharmaceutical products with regard to all issues concerning the secondary packaging of medicinal products.

The storage and processing of your temperature-sensitive goods takes place in our air-conditioned spaces. Your products can be stored at temperature ranges of from 15 to 25 degrees. In this way we ensure that your products are fully-maintained as regards their quality and form.

Our experienced employees can also take on the tasks of repacking and labelling syringes.

Our services in the field of pharmaceutics:
The packaging of human medicine and veterinary pharmaceutical products comprises

• the assembly and repackaging of folding boxes containing blisters, sachets, syringes, bottles, tubes and crucibles
• the preparation of samples
• serialization
• the replacement of package inserts
• the performance of 100% inspections in respect of product packages or folding boxes
• the assembly of money trays and displays
• the printing of labels
• the coding of blisters, folding boxes and cartons
• the attachment of vignettes, bollini, barcode labels, tamper-evident labels

Serialization:

We print the serial numbers provided by you onto medicinal products that are subject to serialization (in accordance with the specifications of the EU Falsified Medicines Directive). For this purpose, we work together with a qualified service provider who converts your xml files into the xml format required by us and afterwards returns your files back to your database in your own xml format.

We offer this service for flat or filled folding boxes.

Since February 2019 all medical packaging of prescription medicines must be provided with a tamper-proof protection seal as a security feature. Naturally we can equip your folding boxes with the tamper-evident labels or carry out the adhesion of the tuck-in flaps so as to ensure that your product is a genuine article.

Storage:

The products are stored at our site in compliance with GMP, with temperature monitoring and only containing parts from the same lot.

Quality assurance:

Our employees are highly qualified for these tasks and are trained in compliance with GMP at regular intervals in accordance with our SOP system and under the responsibility of our "Qualified Person". Our quality management system and our Qualified Person in accordance with Section 14 Pharmaceutical Products Act ensure that processes are properly documented.

With our camera systems we can check the coding of folding boxes in line. In this process we check the availability and legibility of data and/or the data matrix code.

If production faults occur, we'll be pleased to carry out a 100% inspection for you and post-process your products.

Packaging materials can be either provided by you, or we take care of procurement and check the warehouse stock. In this way, your product can go directly to the processing department after it has left the goods incoming section, and you deliver the goods to your customers as quickly as possible.

Our cellophane overwrapping machines enable us to fully wrap a large variety of products and product formats into transparent or printed film — on request also with transparent or coloured pull strip.

• Shrinking and sleeving

With our hot air sleeve tunnel we shrink transparent or printed sleeves/double chamber sleeves around diverse products. In this way we create promotionally effective campaign packages. This also goes for the attractive and effective implementation of multi-packages and on-pack campaigns.

• Tubular bag packaging

With our horizontal and vertical tubular bag machines we package a large variety of products using the flow-pack technique, irrespective of whether the packages we are dealing with are flat, round or mixed bags. We're always pleased to take individual customer requirements into consideration. Apart from the processing of a variety of different sizes we package products in transparent or printed film, depending on your individual request.
The imprint naturally also specifies the batch number and date of expiry.
